We started One Day Yards because we couldn't find anyone who could do it right, do it fast, and do it for a fair price.
We're a small team of lifelong Coloradans based in Boulder who love the outdoors, love great design, and got tired of watching our state's water disappear into thirsty lawns that look mediocre half the year.
When we decided to transform our own yard into a xeriscape we did what anyone would do — we called around for bids. What we got back were eye-watering prices, vague timelines stretching weeks into the future, and designs that felt generic and uninspired.
So we did it ourselves. We researched the plants, obsessed over the design, figured out the fastest and most efficient way to execute an install, and invested in the right equipment to do it in a day. The result was exactly what we hoped for — beautiful, water-smart, and done fast. We knew immediately this was something Boulder County needed more of. One Day Yards was born.
